Our history
Take2Eton Group combines innovation and fresh thinking with the stability of over fifty years of heritage.
Our story began in 1969 when Eton Travel opened its first shop 10 minutes from Windsor castle. Over the years, Eton expanded its services to include corporate travel, meetings and events, leisure travel, and specialist services for various niche sectors. Eton’s success was built on a solid reputation for experience and exceptional service, attracted a loyal customer base.
In 2021, Chris Thelen launched TakeTwo Travel Solutions bringing decades of senior-level experience and success in travel management. As the world emerged from the Covid pandemic, the travel management industry faced seismic changes, creating a gap in the market for an independent TMC with a highly experienced team, a service-first approach and supported by great technology. TakeTwo quickly established a solid reputation on both sides of the Atlantic, opening offices in London and New York to meet the demand from its growing customer base.
Later in 2021, Chris Thelen acquired Eton Travel Management, recognising its shared culture and vision with TakeTwo. Combining both teams would strengthen the customer proposition, enhancing the overall service offering.
Today, we operate as one brand: Take2Eton Group.
Take2Eton’s portfolio of services includes corporate travel, meetings & events and personal leisure travel. We work with organisations of all sizes, from SME and small accounts currently unmanaged by a TMC, to large, enterprise-sized accounts.
Our clients span diverse industries such as pharmaceutical, technology, finance, retail, insurance, manufacturing, legal and consulting. We also have specialist divisions for the energy sector, as well as the DJ, music, entertainment and creative industries. Additionally, we provide a discreet service for VIP travellers and family offices.
As a multi-market TMC, Take2Eton has offices in the UK, Europe and North America. We also work with carefully selected partners worldwide, as a member of the GlobalStar network, to offer a cohesive global service solution where needed.

Over three decades, Chris Thelen has worked at the top of TMCs across the UK, Europe, and North America. At Chambers Travel he led a management buyout, growing the company four-fold by winning and retaining clients thanks to his focus on service and technology. As Founder + CEO Take2Eton, Chris prioritises delivering the highest quality service, technology, and content.
